My construction experience began in 2002 in Denver, Colorado where I was fortunate enough to learn from some of the very best. It was there that I discovered my natural aptitude for design and construction and I worked hard, learning everything I could. We also bought our first home there which was built in 1910 and needed a complete renovation from top to bottom. I learned volumes from that project alone.
Much of my experience and knowledge in construction was also gained through renovating our own investment properties. We bought, renovated and sold residential properties for several years. I really grew to love the dramatic transformation that good design and careful, tasteful work can bring. I truly enjoy the deep satisfaction that comes with completing projects in a way that makes me proud of my work. Buying and selling our own investment homes also taught me in a poignant way the importance of staying on budget, which I continue to carry with me today.
In 2008 our family had the opportunity to move to the Tri-Cities and be near our relatives. Since moving here I have again been fortunate enough to learn from the very best, and have continued to improve and perfect my craft. I have been able to be involved in many stunning and unique projects that have allowed me to use my creativity and design skills to their fullest. I love that everything I do is completely custom to each individual home, and that nothing I ever do is exactly the same.
Doing finishing and renovation work isn’t just a job for me, but truly something that I love. I enjoy the process of designing and executing a remodel or new construction project, and I believe that it shows through in my work. It has been incredible to be a part of so many amazing projects here, where we’ve been able to turn intricate designs and ideas into a reality.
All of my business for years has come exclusively through repeat customers or by word of mouth, which is a rare thing for any business. I feel that it speaks to the quality of my work and to my customer’s satisfaction. I have enjoyed being able to develop great relationships with many of my customers who I now consider to be close friends. I am fortunate to be doing what I love and to live among so many wonderful people in the Tri-Cities area.
